In the 1980s, Lord and Lady Jacobs called upon the fashionable Parisian interior designers Betty and Francois Catroux to decorate their luxurious property in London’s Regent’s Park for their growing art collection. Our desk was acquired through the designers in a Drouot auction around that time.
