In the 1980s, Lord and Lady Jacobs called upon fashionable Parisian interior designers Betty and Francois Catroux to decorate their luxurious property in London’s Regent’s Park to hold their growing art collection. Our desk was acquired through the designers in Parisian Drouot auctions around that time.
