This pair of armchairs is one of Eugene Printz’s iconic models. They saw great success from their very first exhibition in the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in 1935 and were manufactured during the artist’s entire carrer. However, first pairs, like ours were made in very pricy American walnut, carved out of a single block of wood and remain very rare. Later production was done with more common and affordable types of wood, carved out of two blocks.
