This iconic set of two sheep and a lamb is a perfect synthesis of Francois-Xavier Lalanne’s oeuvre. Ancient Egyptian influences mingle with those of the great sculptors of the 20th century - Francois Pompon, Eduard-Marcel Sandoz and of course Constantin Brancusi. This amusing trio exudes humor and irony for which the artist is well known.
